Ode to a Sex Club

Altar to white
Brown
Greying skin

Floating glass
Swans
Neon light
In sacred water

She
The Bacall
The strung out Audrey

Leaving leopard skin
Of bruises
Lipstick marks

He
The Astaire
The old blue eyes

Them
Faded green hair
Guardian angel
Safety and vodka

Red rooms
Made of
Glass and
Vinyl

Caress us with
Misfit comfort

The pock marks
Of age
Soften
In the smog
Of the soft and hard
Flesh
