Her short story \u201cGrey\u201d was named \u201cHighly Recommended\u201d as part of the London Independent Story Prize (LISP).<\/p>\n<p><strong>PETER JICKLING<\/strong> is a playwright, poet and journalist from Whitehorse, Yukon. His play, <em>Syphilis: A Love Story<\/em>, premiered in 2011 and won Best Comedy at the 2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/fringefestivals.com\/festival\/victoria-fringe-theatre-festival\/\">Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival<\/a>. His first poetry collection is forthcoming from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guernicaeditions.com\/\">Guernica Editions<\/a> in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PAULAMI KAR<\/strong> is a master in English literature and photographic artist who dedicates herself to redolent story telling with the imageries of the living world. Born in India in 1989, she first used the camera to document stories on one of the most colourful and intriguing place on earth, the oldest city of Varanasi. She was astounded abound, around every corner she caught a chance to witness the Hindu way of life along the bank of the Ganges River.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONRAD LEIBEL<\/strong> is a poet, performer, essayist and musician from Edmonton, Alberta who couldn&#8217;t stop learning if he wanted to. He\u00a0graduated from\u00a0the University of Victoria\u2019s MA in English literature program with a concentration in medieval and early modern studies. He also holds a BA in English and film studies from the University of Alberta. Conrad currently works as a cat servant and part time as a bookseller at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audreys.ca\/\">Audreys Books<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0You can find out more about him on his <a href=\"https:\/\/merrydevilsreveries.wordpress.com\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CAITLIN MCKENZIE<\/strong> is an emerging poet based in Barrie, Ontario. She has had her poetry published in the second and third issues of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenorthernappeal.com\/\">The Northern Appeal<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/towerpoetry.ca\/\">Tower Poetry Society<\/a><\/em> and now <em><a href=\"http:\/\/sewerlid.com\/\">Sewer Lid<\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n<p><strong>BRUCE MCRAE<\/strong>, a Canadian musician currently residing on Salt Spring Island, BC, is a multiple Pushcart nominee with well over a thousand poems published internationally in magazines such as the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/northamericanreview.org\/\">North American Review<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poetrymagazine\">Poetry<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rattle.com\/\">Rattle<\/a><\/em>. His books are <em>The So-Called Sonnets<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/silencedpress.com\/\">Silenced Press<\/a>), <em>An Unbecoming Fit of Frenzy<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/cawingcrowpress.com\/\">Cawing Crow Press<\/a>), <em>Like As If<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pskisporch.com\/\">Pski\u2019s Porch<\/a>) and <em>Hearsay<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetshaven.com\/\">The Poet\u2019s Haven<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>JAKE SHEFF<\/strong> is a major and pediatrician in the US Air Force. His poems have been published or are forthcoming in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecossackreview.com\/\">The Cossack Review<\/a><\/em>,<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/craborchardreview.siu.edu\/\">Crab Orchard Review<\/a><\/em>,<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radiusmag.com\/\">Radius<\/a> <\/em>and elsewhere. Jake won first place in the 2017 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfpoetry.com\/index.html\">Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association<\/a> (FSPA) speculative poetry contest.
