\nto suit my arrangement (in history and etc.) and thus rearrange and revise my regular routes<\/p>\n
the Index referred me to pages of instructions
\nas to how to hold the brush
\nor how to position the foot in such-and-such a dance
\nor how to alliterate so as to allude to alternative assumptions underlying the algorithms of poetry
\nor even how to position the wrist above the fingers above the piano keys
\nso as to properly prepare the arm for composition in its ephemeral iterations [see Improvisatory
\nExpression, p. 1922]<\/p>\n

\nbut my perusals left an immediate hunger to express in intangibles
\nas if a fluid were backed up somewhere in the Infinite Flow of Things [cf. Time, p. 3841]
\nI pursued the Index in search of some corkscrew in metaphor
\ndesiring a kind of pouring-forth to occur
\n———–<\/span><\/span>a form of necessary healing
\notherwise the cork holds back a kind of emotional sewage
\n———–<\/span><\/span>ugly and unavoidable<\/p>\n
\none entry at a time
\nif perseverance dovetails delicately with perspicacity<\/p>\n
\nwhere it all comes together
\nwhere the cartoon bulb alights overtop my illustrated head
\nand the revelations reduce themselves to entries entered by invisible hands
\nbenevolent paragraphs reductive in profundity
\nlike the poetic version of a ship in a bottle<\/p>\n
\nfeeding off the Volumes Written Already [see Literature, p. 2129]
\nas if referencing what once was based on reference
\ncould possibly refract the light any closer to the Truth [cf. Myth, p. 2373]<\/p>\n
\nand warm my hands by its incandescence
\nso they are ample and ready
