These pieces are an example of what I fear the most: being pigeon holed. I like all kinds of paintings and drawings and styles as well and so my influences are many. But I used to get terribly frustrated when my ideas weren’t working out on the page or canvas. Now and for some years, I look at my art as a collaboration. Sometimes, the art wants to be something else and I follow it, often to very good effect. Lately, I seem to have lost my inspiration. I hope it comes back.
